In 2015, Professor Jason Mondigo initiated a Jiu Jitsu for Kids program in Cebu with just a handful of young students. His dedication and effective teaching methods quickly attracted more participants, transforming the program into one of the largest kids and teens Jiu Jitsu teams in Cebu.
A distinguished black belt under Professor Edison Kagohara, Professor Jason Mondigo is not only a skilled instructor but also a formidable competitor. He has been active in local and international Jiu Jitsu events since 2014, securing numerous victories. His notable accomplishments include winning prestigious Jiu Jitsu tournaments and becoming a 2x IBJJF Asian Open Champion, multiple ASJJF event champion, and IBJJF in North America event champion.
Throughout his family’s travels in different countries, Professor Mondigo has trained at various gyms, gaining valuable knowledge and experience while building friendships within the global Jiu Jitsu community. His passion for the sport and dedication to teaching have led him to join Fraction Fitness, where he continues to inspire and educate students about the gentle art of Jiu Jitsu.
